Big Plans
Store Planer

Friday, January 26, 8 p.m., Rich Theatre

Big Plans is a big-hearted comedy about Willy, a balding, 38-year-old Peter Pan, and his struggle to grow up and reach out to his eight-year-old son. Willy (Thomas Bo Larsen) has dedicated his life to rock and roll, though no one else has really noticed. His career is a failure, his marriage a bust, and he’s just been released from jail for some petty crime. But faced withan uncertain future, he falls back on what he knows, and decides to re-united his old band, the Winstons (named not for the cigarette brand but for John Lennon’s middle name). Getting the old group inspired and up to speed is a challenge, but when he learns that the call-girl across the hall (LeneMaria Christensen) has a fine voice, and convinces her to sing with them, he thinks they just might have a shot at success. Directed by Jesper W. Nielsen - 96 minutes – Comedy - 2005
